Triberr to Promote Your Blog?

We often post about promoting your blog, being social, and ways to get more traffic. There’s one online tool that can help you do all that by leveraging a network of other bloggers. We’re talking about Triberr.

What is Triberr?

Triberr describes itself as “new and better way to grow your blog’s readership.” It connects bloggers with similar interests in tribes, and everyone shares each other’s content leading to more exposure for everyone.

Sounds great right?

Here are some tips that will really help you make the most out of Triberr.

triberrCompletely fill out your profile. Your profile is where other bloggers will go to learn more about you, to find out if you’d be a great fit for their tribe. Add a short bio about yourself and your blog. Also, add your blog RSS feed and your social networks.

Look for relevant tribes. Notice we said relevant. To get the most out of Triberr, you need to network with bloggers in the same or very similar niches. Start on the Tribes page and click on Explore New Tribes. You can select a category to view related tribes. Look for as many relevant tribes as possible.

At first, you won’t automatically be added as a member of the tribes, you will remain a follower. What’s the difference? A follower can read the posts of members and share them. However, you won’t get your posts shared by the group unless you are a member too. You can immediately request the tribe leader, or chief, to promote you to a member. However, a better tactic is to be active in the tribe, share posts, comment, let the chief know you would be a valuable member … and then ask for a promotion.

triberrStart your own tribe. You can create your own tribe and invite members. Starting your own tribe will help establish you as a leader and an expert. Triberr users tend to respect people who run a tribe, especially if they maintain it well. Spark conversations, encourage others to participate and leave comments often.

Share your tribe. Spread the word about your tribe using your social networks. Simply share your profile on all your social networks and encourage others to join.

Respond to comments. You will likely see some comments on your blog posts; make sure that you respond to them. Doing so shows you are an active and courteous member of a tribe.

Triberr is a great tool for networking and promoting your blog posts. By joining tribes and proving yourself to be a valuable member of the community, you can really increase your own blog exposure.
